Solving Log Equation plz help!?

7log base 9 (x+8)=7 Solve for x.

    7log9(x + 8) = 7

    First, we divide both sides by 7:

    log9(x + 8) = 1

    Next, we raise 9 to the power of each side to eliminate the log:

    x + 8 = 9

    Subtract 8:

    x = 1

    7 log (base 9) (x+8) = 7

    => log (base 9) (x+8) = 1 <-- divide both sides by 7

    => 9^1 = x+8 <-- turn into exponential form

    => x = 1 <-- subtract 8 from both sides.

    9x+72=7

    9x=7-72

    9x=65

    x=65/9

    x=7.2
