How early should I get there?

I'm going three hours early but im obssessed lol, i also did that with harry potter :D

This will be my 7th midnight premiere and I am asking the same question. If it is anything like Harry Potter I would get there early. People tell u to get there 2-3 hours early but that will not guarantee good seats. The last 2 Harry Potter movies my friends and I got there at 10 am and there were already people waiting in line. At 2pm half of the waiting area was filled and by 6-7pm people were forced to stay outside. I live in a moderately big city probably maybe 100k people. So if you don't want to wait in line forever get there at 6 maybe earlier or later depending on ur city. I am personally going at 10 am. If you dont want to skip school, you can just bring ur stuff with u to school and ask ur parents to pick u up right after school and bring u to a theater. Remember bring drinks and snacks with u, ipod, video game console, anything to entertain u cause it can be very tedious.
