Allegations in Religious category - What is called Allegations?

His questions are less of allegations and more of thoughtless insults for fun-sake. He commends vegetarianism, meditation, free thought, science and then he goes on to attack in entirety the very religion which is known worldwide for these practices since ancient times. He also twists the spirit of various beliefs by quoting from dubious sources or out of context or by quoting discarded/ unpopular/ exceptional stuff which even those believers don't take seriously.

He does raise some sincere and factual points against Theism, though. But if he is realistic and want people to take him seriously about questioning and shunning their religious excesses, then questions like 'Which hand Narayana used to remove his wife's underwear' won't help.

I have been watching the questions asked by Mr.Odumpully.I could have easily countered his allegation but I did not do it because his sole aim is to blame Hinduism °rade it.The version in vedas and Scriptures may appear to be controversy & not in accordance with our custom and tradition.But if you analysis the period in which they were written,the contents and language used are justified with relevant period.Words used in Sanskrit,have significant importance with different meaning.Literal meaning will mislead people like Odumpuly.For example,in the Rig Veda,it is stated that one-foot surpasses Two foot;Two foot leaves three foot behind.Here one foot is sun;Two foot is human and the three foot is old man because he takes support of a cane for walking.If you take literally,you can not have any meaning.Likewise,Soma,mentioned in the Rig veda is to be taken as inspiration juice and not as drink or liquor.Dr.Radhakrisnan s Indian philosophy will clear some of our doubts on Hinduism.

With regard to your additional details: Unless he can show where he's getting the information for his allegations, then you cannot really answer him. He's claiming one thing without backing it up with facts. That makes it impossible for you to answer him because everything he says is his own opinion and based on conjecture.

mr.odd pally he is spilling his ignorance all over the world .. its not allegations or questions.. ignore it is the answer.. no iota of sense in his most of the questions..my foot this english hinders me to keep my heart out .. still try to say something ..

*logic .. proof thing.. (with sincere apology in advance)if i ask you your dad's name you say mr.xyz .. for that you have birth certificate as proof .. for this who given the inputs ? do you have a dna report (if yes what is the proof it is not fixed ?) do not think that i am going personal coz as you are atheist its the good eg..) this world is run by trust and faith .. one cant give proof and logic to everything..) feel how faith shakes a person .. taste your own medicine..

*once a atheist and theist at night by walk going to another place ..mid way theist stepped on sticky substance.. he just ignored and brushed it away and moved.. atheist also stepped on same.. he is not sure what is that so picked it up and smelled and said oh s*** still not satisfied with it and wrapped it in karchief for lab test...

any thing in life ..see its good side .. use fault finding mind for good purpose.. spoiled clock also show right time .. two times a day...

I want to give impartial answer. Everyone should be careful while preparing a question. In a question asking to clear doubts is one, sentimentally hurting is another one. i suggest a question may be posted without hurting the sentiments of others. Again, it is good to check verses one or two times before posting. Indian members are very clevers and easily findout the originality. The google and yahoo there instead of confirming the verses.Some questions seems to be allegations to others than the posting members.

question 7 is a alegation.i know i have seen diretly.

q6 is not allegation.it is said in kolkata killing of animal in kali temple is still followed. people love it so they are doing.one cant object.if objected.meat eating should be baned.

q3.it is true it is freedom.just like people walk in beach in two piece cloths.they are walking.they are not hurting any one.there are also naked beach around world one cant object. not all saints beg. they(saints) have no itention like half wit odupuli so they are not talking.

On Yahoo Q & A, there is nothing to take as allegations, but as individual opinions. If some quotes are taken as allegations, it amounts to wrong thinking and misconceptions.

Mr.Odampully may be trying to put forth his views against the views of Theists who follow somebody's writing, preachings, teachings without probing as to whether they are based on truthful evidences.

As I have seen, read and understood many holy scriptures, they are not at all relevant to present day.

What is the use of unwanted and meaningless arguments on useless subjects. There are numerous subjects available on this planet to learn and we need many births to know those subjects. Let us stop commenting on each other.

Questions rising have their own style.Some will float positively and some are against. you should understand the question. i feel it is his own style. Here i am not supporting his questions which are not acceptable.Allegations are also a question is my argument.

I'm not entirely sure what the question is, but I agree with one of his allegations. Religion does change great and wise into blind, in my opinion. (which is why that is an "allegation", because it's an opinion and not based on any particular study and/or source).

Challenging question: God kills own children, says all Religions. Then how can that cruel rascal be respected?

Odampully sir says God kills own children, says all Religions. Then he scolds God as 'cruel rascal'.Then he came with a question ''how the cruel rascal be respected''. Was this words he used a question or allegation? He did not say the particular religion, but said commonly.it is not a question, it is an allegation against the God. He said not to respect God since God kills his own children. First he never accepted God, later he accepts God and speaking against God by serious allegation.Hinduism believes heaven and hell and as per Hinduism, Gandhiji has gone to heaven. Hinduism says that he has gone to heaven means he has gone to heaven. He accepted Lord Ram. Ram is real god's incarnation, so he has gone to heaven. Again by accepting Lord Ram, he didn't reject Lord Jesus, he accepted him as true other names of same real god who incarnated for benefit of humanity, just like Lord ram. He called his god with name ram. Christians call god with name Jesus.

My religion believes that every religion shares the same god and every one's god belonging to same or different religion is one. For example different siblings share the same parents.we all know ‘SUN’ is an English word, in Hindi it is ‘Surya’, Sanskrit it is ‘surya or aditya’,and the sun has many names in other languages such as“sol”, ‘Taiyou’, 'taiyang', ‘Helios’ etc.Although we have different words for sun in different languages, all of them have the same meaning and same feelings and sun is one and only one.so, so many gods in so many religions.In his allegation against God, he pulled every religious Gods.It is his wish to post questions, but i distanced from answering because of his allegations.
