Has anyone read the morganville vampire series? ?

If so, what did u think of it? I'm reading Bite club at the moment (the 10th book) and just can't get enough of the series :-)

Personally I love the series, I've only read 1-9 so far, but I'm loving them. They don't approach the concept of vampires that so many seem to be leaning toward these days, a romantic notion. Back in the days of Nosferatu and Dracula there was no concept of a virtuous vampire. They had one goal, and they were not your friend. And yet, somewhere along the line the idea of a vampire who had a soul and was a protector came about. And I think most of the examples of that are terrible, so I love this series because it doesn't do that at all!

It's silly and funny, and the vampires are presented as something to fear, and you really kinda do as you continue to read.

I've read the first one, and it was okay. Nothing special, very much better than some of the YA vampire drivel out there.

My daughter's read all of them and loves them.
