6Ns! Shortlist for best player of the tournament! Your opinions of lack of English Players?

First of all, no Kearney (Who could well have walked the nominations) Bowe (Could well become the highest try scorer in 6N history for one tournament by this weekend). But Donnacha Ryan, a great player who looks world class on the international stage too now as well as at club level, gets a nomination even though he's had all of one debut this six nations?! Looks like the list was rushed and based on last weekend, but then again how could it be as theres no English players in it!

Not sure how Phillips made that list. He hasnt been bad, but jesus, he has nowhere near been world class. England may of had an abysmal first two games, but theyve been pretty darn solid and impressive for the last two. They deserve better representation, much better.

I really can't believe it. How did they choose these players? They've listed the different men of the match so far, but what about round 5? And how is it possible that players like Bowe, Fofana, Kearney, Dusautoir, Gray, Halfpenny, etc. are not even mentioned? Why people couldn't vote for their player of the tournament (no matter the team he belongs to or the number he wears)?

I'm very surprised that Kearney and Fofana aren't up for it. Both have been outstanding this tournament. I don't think Farrell has been as great as the media has made out.

Out of the players shortlisted I would choose Denton or Harinordoquy :)

you haven't read the article have you? These 12 players were automatically short listed as they were voted as man of the match for the 12 games in the first four rounds of the tournament. That's why it's missing players like Richie Grey and Rob Kearny. Personally I think Ben Morgan has been excellent for England and they have looked for better in attack since Tuilagi came back.

Croft and Farrell are arguable and understandable either way, but I'm shocked and appalled by the omission of Wesley Fofana.

As you know, I'm only a 1/2 Taff and think they could have mentioned any of the English players instead of those French ones!

BTW I think Sam Warburton should walk it!

Lack of English players because they aren't very good. They've scored very few tries and have resorted to the huff and puff basic game plan they always had.

I'm really surprised that Rob Kearney isn't there!!
