is e.l.f makeup cheap quality?

It depends on what you get. Some brushes are good, and their primer is pretty good as well. So are most of their eyeshadows. I guess you could say they are good for the price, compared to other $1-$5 makeup brands.

Oh, and I haven't seen them at CVS before- only Target. And occasionally the dollar store but there isn't much of a selection there.

It depends on what you get, but generally the Essentials line is poor quality and the Studio line is good quality.

I've tried tons of ELF products and I end up tossing a lot of things from the essentials line, but I have lots of makeup staples from the studio line, especially their brushes.

They sell it at Target, but I don't think they sell it at CVS.

Hey! They don't sell elf at cvs but check target they have it. Elf is a kind of good brand. it really depends on what your looking for. just be careful when buying somethings like make up for a cheap price. you never no what could happen. Hope this helps xoxo:)

Its really hit or miss for a lot of their stuff, mostly the $1 items. I've really liked most of the $3-$6 things I've bought. You should go to the website and read a lot of reviews on the products you were thinking of getting and google swatches to get a better feel of the product. I would def. recommend...

Studio brushes, blushes, pressed powder, loose eyeshadows, minty lipgloss, any of the mascaras

Essiential waterproof eye pens, liquid eyeliner, concealer, healthy glow bronzer, eyelashes.

ELF makeup consists of very-cheap makeup, but then some "gems." Do your research before you buy anything, because it could either be terrible, or REALLY good.

And no, it is only sold online and at Target. You can also sometimes find it at Ross and TJ Maxx, but it doesn't have everything.

its ok, some of there stuff isn't that bad,its too cheap not to try out it really just depends on your make up expections, i have high expections so alot of it doesn't impress me to much, as far as cheap make up id go with wet n wild over elf but that's me and some of there items are duped to high end brands,elf's make up.. duped means compared to in the make up world.....i use n like there studio line the best, there make up brushes,blushes,powders. some eyeshadow, lip stick, lip gloss, lip stain, there gel liner, and eye primer, setting finishing mist,warm bronzer, and blush n bronzer duo, eye brow kit.......there nail polish n eye lashes are crap though, i don't recommend there dollar items either

i wouldn't ever use there face primer/foundation/mascara though i prefer high end brands for that

i think they only sell it at target, but there website has a better selections, if you buy online look up coupons and you can save money, theres always coupons online

i think its cheap. i have their two in one mascara and it sucks! it ALWAYS clumps my eyelashes really bad and i look stupid and i have their face brush. thats okay but the bristles fall out alot. and my mom got their eyeliner and she had to get maybelline because the brush for the elf liquid eyeliner was soo thick and bad. i also have their concealer and it comes out way oranger than it seems! the only reason i got this stuff is that its really cheap and i dont like spending a lot of money on make up but i wouldnt buy anything from there again except their face brushes but its so cheap, you get what you pay for. but next time you are in target, i suggest just getting better quality make up because,hey, you are alreay there. i like maybelline.

The brushes are bad and sometimes the packaging is but the actual makeup is really good!
