A side of the Depo shot includes light/shorter periods, no period, and longer periods. Depends on your body. I've been on the shot for a little over two years and have only had one light, short period. I have a friend who was on the shot who bled for 3 months straight before getting off and switching birth control. If you're period doesn't go away by the time you get your next shot, talk to your doctor.
