Are the Mets really going to suck this year and have I been suffering from delusions that they will do great?

    I really think they can have a good season if they stay healthy and have a good offensive season

    "Really going to suck" is aiming delusionally high. The Mets are going to be a disaster.

    Worst part? With the Astros still in the NL, the Mets won't even get the top draft pick for their misery.

    Best possible outcome from the 2012 season: no one gets killed due to on-field injury, and the Wilpons lose their lawsuit and finally conclude they must sell the team.

    Yes they will bring up 5th place with the 2nd worse record in the NL they will have a better record than the Astros

    They won't suck, if by "suck" you mean a threat to lose 100 games. They will be mediocre, though.
