    He's mentioned several different old norse stories. That is the closest you will come to real information, as no one knows whether or not he really ever existed.

    I found this one online which seems very close to what Shakespeare must have been inspired by:

    I don't suppose you'd consider going to a library and reading stuff written by actual professional scholars in the fields of history and literature?
