how to recover from being used?

I've chased this dude for so long now i feel ashamed that he only used me for sex i really wanted to be in a relationship with him and now he won't even answer my texts i feel ashamed for falling for someone who didn't share the same feelings for me even thought i knew this person for over an year when it told them i wanted to be in a relationship they backed away and left me standing cold and alone i texted and called i have done it to the point i feel like my pride has been thrown out the window how do you recover after that? I don't even think i will be able to trust another man again i really feel stupid see i never been in a real relationship and i thought this was my first chance..
