"The automatic transmission features Hyundai's special Hyundai Intelligent Vehicle electronic control, which has a lockup torque converter" (from google search)

I had a car that wouldn't unlock the torque converter when it was hot.

The wire passed through special contacts on the brake switch. (not the brake light contacts)

I put a switch in that path and mounted it in the center console.

This would interrupt the 12 volts to the solenoid in the transmission for the OD feature.

On the highway, when traffic appeared or before my exit, I would shut it off, and release the gas, and reapply the gas, to coax it out of overdrive.

Otherwise the car would stall and be hard to restart and get in gear.

Look into this. I had a crank shaft sensor fail on me. I would have intermittant starting problems and stalling issues when I pulled up to a light for a stop. The dealership replaced it and so far so good. No problems since.

ok once you've any adventure with vehicle wiring it really is fairly basic. i ought to imagine that to make certain that the tomtom to shop memory it ought to ought to have a minimum of three wires, a floor, +12v warm, and +12v accesory. If i'm maximum ideal then the floor must be a chassis floor, +12v warm must be a consistent source of capacity which include that from the battery, and the +12v accesory could come from something that loses capacity from the ignition, radio fuse contained in the fuse field, etc. in case you want extra information in this digital mail me and that i'll talk it with you. wish this facilitates

It's your clutch when your car can't switch gears correctly it turns itself off so when your car starts switching gears to slow down it can't switch correctly so it turns off
