Kissing with coldsores?

Is it okay? I got a coldsore on Tuesday, I've been putting Virasorb on it and I'm going out on Saturday, if I kiss someone will they deffinitely get it?

Also, what is the difference between Herpes and Coldsores? Are coldsores always linked to herpes?

    Cold sores are a form of herpes. You should avoid kissing if you have a sore or have one developing or not completely gone. Herpes is serious.

    theres a HIGHCHANCE it's very contagious .
