why do the majority of Americans keep voting against their own economic interests?
Forget the Dem or Rep argument....would u take a job that couldn't pay your Federal Income Tax...the majority of congress ppls salaries wont cover their income tax...this country is majority middle class to poor population...why aren't we sending smart ppl to congress that actually need the job...If I listen to what employers have told me...Most Congress ppl are over qualified based on their net worth...Which also presents the question..How does a conservative even have a argument or hand in politics..?

Bekind I think ur missing the question...Why would a millionaire take a job making 200k...Ill use the former Senator from my state, John Heinz. He was worth 50plus million in the 80s while making about 90k....Jon Corzine spent 100million of his money for his campaign to become governor of NJ...for a $175k salary....

It revolves around your own idea of what the economic interests are. Are you more worried about your own immediate needs or are you worried about the whole nation going bankrupt? I think you know which party is which in regard to that statement. I'm hoping someone can stop the madness and save the nation so I will vote for a conservative.
