Are companies like Lunar Embassy a scam?
A friend of mine bought some 'prime lunar property' through them and Ive been trying to tell him its a scam, but he doesnt believe me.
Actually the Lunar Embassy says quite the opposite about it being a novelty gift. It says you actually own an acre of lunar land

If he's okay with buying it as a novelty and not expecting an enforceable claim, he's gone to the right place.

No, it's not a scam. They make it perfectly clear that it's for entertainment purposes only and doesn't actual entitle the person to anything. Only an idiot would think that it would give them actual legal ownership over any part of the Moon.

I would recommend talking to a lawyer whio is familiar with such transactions. At first glance my own suspicion is that it is s scam... but I could be wrong ! I dont know why anyone woukld spend money on such a thing without first consulting with a lawyer !!
Another thing is where is the company located ? is it offshore ?... this should immediately raise the red flag !
