my guinea pig has crusty lips\mouth, what is this from?
he lives by him self because he doesn't get along with any other of my males, he chews the bars a lot so i thought it might be from that, he doesn't have crust on his eyes or nose so i don't think it's URI and his personalty is the same, i tried to wipe it off with but it wouldn't come off, he has eating and drinking the same, does anyone know what this is? does he need to go to the vet?

probably not enough vitamin c they can get crusty's under their eyes or nose or lips. but if you tried to wipe it off and it didn't come of defiantly take him to the vet. hope this helps

Maybe he just has chapped lips.Humans get it so I'm sure animals can get it look up remedies for it sure they have some.
