Why do girls keep chasing me? And what can i do about it? Plz answer plz plz this is not fun anymore...?

i'm guy and am 18 years old. Since when i started noticing, i found that many girls want my company so badly that they even don't hesitate in fighting each other. Some of them follow my steps, some give really frequent hi's and waves, two of them even came out of nowhere and directly asked my phone number.

I'm just a normal guy, a little shorter than usual, slim and thin. I don't know if i'm good looking or not. I don't make much friends. I'm an ambitious guy who has attitude to crush his criticism. I'm funny but don't talk much coz i believe in talking less but talking smart. Unlike others, i work on my personality and posture etc. Some of them, even tried to kiss me, lyk brushing their lips softly against mine as an accident. I really don't know what they all want. Per week a new girl waves me sort of friendly hi and all that.

At first i thought that i was lucky and enjoyed it but now many of my guy-friends are gettig jealous. What to do? Now don't ask if i'm a gay coz am not! Plz plz help, am fed up?
