HELP?! can't seem to choose which Saint's name?

Hey:) so I'm getting my saints name soon, and I can't seem to choose between Joan,Julia and Kara.

I know choosing a saint's name isnt all about whether it sounds nice and stuff but whether you can use her/he as a role model that watches over you. So that's why I chose either Joan,Julia or Kara. Kara isn't exactly a saints name:P but its derived from a saint.

My name's Carmen.

Last name Sam.

Carmen ____ Sam

Help me!:)

Pls give reasons to why you chose that name:) ty so much:):):):):)

I do like Kara but it's a bit too similar to your first name to use. Julia is a beautiful name, and I definitely prefer it to Joan.

Carmen Julia Sam would look (and sound) lovely!

Carmen Julia Sam bc it flows the best

Joan-I feel needs something add to it to complete it as a name

Kara- it's too similar to your name Carmen

Kathryn/Catherine is nice and flows well with your names

    Carmen Catherine Sam ?

    Are you sure that "derrived from a saint" is going to work? I can't imagine that St.Chuck, St.Vinnie, St.Frank, St.Terri, St.Izzy, St.Apple, St.Barbie....would be okay (?)

I like Julia and it sounds nice in your name. Using Kara would make a clumsy and harsh K-K sound. Joan is rather plain.

I chose a male saint (for the meaning), and sometimes use it in my name as St.Anthony.

Carmen Julia Sam - Julia fits with your name better than the others, plus I don't like Joan.

My Saints name was Francis because he was a guy and I didn't take it seriously and treated it as a joke (I don't believe in God) I don't use it in my name, or tell people what it is because I'm no longer Catholic or Christian (I never did anyway)

    Joan!

don't choose Kara though. it's a nice name, but because the first syllable of your first name sounds like the first syllable of Kara, it won't sound nice. so yup :)

  • Joan was almost my saints name!! She's a great role model my saints name is Anne (Mary's mother)

    Well good luck
