How long does the bleeding exist after wisdom tooth extraction?

I just had one wisdom tooth pulled on fri and I still get a little bit of blood on my gauze. I think its normal for about 2-3 days. I was just diagnosed with a dry socket. Its very very painful. So I think at this point you should be ok. I believe by tomorrow you should be just fine. If your not in pain now, keep doing what your doing and all should be good. Just be should to rinse lots, don't smoke, or any sucking motion for that matter, and try not to do anything over exerting like I did. What caused my dry socket was that I played hockey 26 hours after my extraction. The heavy breathing and running were the likely causes. hope this helps a little.
