Virgin Mobile WildFire memory?

I just switched from the BB Curve to a HTC WildFire through Virgin Mobile. I keep getting a message that the internal memory is low and I do the clean up tool thing and it is ok for a day or so. I have tried to move everything I could to the SD card (2 GB) but still get the message about every day or so. I have only had the phone about 4 days and like it otherwise. What can I do to try and fix this? I read something about rooting it...but I have no clue.

    This could be the device problem... I would say that you should report that problem to the mechanical/device service since they are more likely to help you!
