Why does it cost so much to ship my package?
I don't know if maybe i'm doing something wrong on the website, but I really hope i am. I need to ship an Easter gift to a friend. We are both in Indiana and my package is small and only weighs about a pound. I tried both ups and usps and both of them came to between 20 and 25 dollars for the cheapest shipping options. I am not going to spend 25 dollars to ship a 5 dollar gift, but I don't know why it's so expensive. Someone please help me out.

All shipping rates have gone up, but the post office is still reasonable. Use their 'if it fits, it ships' packages. The smallest one used to be $4.95. Probably slightly higher.
They don't go by weight for the most part as long as it's under 75 pounds if i remember right.
