uromastyx question...any1 can help?
hello everyone
i picked up my 3rd uro 4 days ago...its a male ornate...
i have experience with uros...but nothing seems to work out wid this 1
i am from egypt..so i had da chance to observe dem in the wild and captivity
its been 4 days..dis guy havent eaten anything
i tried lattice..peas..green beans..apple...carrots..cabbage..i even gave em a couple of insects..didnt even look at them
hes dehydrated i soak em in a shallow water bath
hes active wonders around the cage all the time..
i have the right temp on basking area and cool end
i have uvb exo terra 10.0 for desert reptiles..i even give em a dosage of sun light
we dont have vets that can treat a reptile over here...or check for parasites..
any 1 got any ideas
i tried all temp from 90 f to 135 ..i even gave edible flowers

Make sure your temps. are correct. The basking temps should be 120-130 degrees. Ambiant temps of 85-90 degrees. Nighttime temps between 60-70 degrees. Try feeding Mustard greens, dandelion greens, collard greens, parsnip, and squashes. Good luck :)
