I will be visiting Los Angeles Whre should I stay?

I will be visiting Los Angeles this summer. We will only be staying there for three days. I would like to do one of the hop on and off bus tours one of those days and visit Universal Studios the next day. What is a convenient and nice hotel to stay in. What area should I be looking into? Any suggestions?

If you want to know where to stay in Ls Angeles don't you think it would make better sense to ask this question in the LOS ANGELES section? This is the LAS VEGAS travel section.

One hint. DON'T stay in Hollywood. It's an area with things a tourist wants to see about the glory days of the motion picture industry, but today it's just a dirty section of Los Angeles.

If you wish to look at the popular Hollywood then you definitely require to produce a visit to Los Angeles and this hotelbye is the area to start. In Hollywood you will see landmarks including the Walk of Fame (stars on the sidewalk), the Hollywood Sign, the Hollywood Bowl and more. Los Angeles can also be a place for all the family since this place is the home to several world-famous amusement parks like Universal Studios, Disneyland and significantly more. In Los Angeles you can also got to take pleasure from the warm weather and beaches so regardless of your interests, Los Angeles makes the right getaway.

Most of those LA tours that you mentioned originate on Hollywood Blvd's Walk of Fame. Universal Studios is actually not that far from there. It is just over the hill in Studio City. If you have a look at the map, you will see. If you are OK with staying in Hollywood, there are hotels of all price ranges, from the new W to Best Western. They are all walking distance from Hollywood Blvd, which is pretty central. If you don't want to stay in that side of town (it can be a little bit seedy), try West Hollywood. It's more laid back but still close by. If you want to get to know a little more about LA from a native's point of view, check out the website Via Los Angeles. It's your little black book to the city of angels. :) Bon voyage!
