Question about Silent Hill HD vs original release and getting multiple endings?
So I know in the original game release of Silent Hill 2 the first ending you automatically got was the Leave ending but I am wondering if this is the same for the HD release. I want to get the In Water ending seeing as how it is my favorite but I would really rather not do all the work for it my first playthrough if I am just gonna end up with the Leave ending anyway.
So yeah does anybody happen to know if it's still the same as it used to be with this or if they changed this for the HD version?
That's not what I asked. I asked if you still get the Leave ending on your first playthrough automatically.

It's the same as the original. Just today, I met all the requirements to get the 'Maria' ending my first time through, but I received the 'Leave' ending instead. So, you're free to ignore working towards ending requirements until your second playthrough.

All the endings Silent Hill HD connections are basically the same as originals, only differences are games have been remastered Konami left the endings intact.
