Correct this sentences grammar?

"Initially, I felt little but sincere guilt for being the cause of what had happened. Many feelings soon followed, however— fear, that my brother might never forgive me; anger, that I was being blamed for something that he started; the strangest kind of joy, that he got what he had coming; and everything in-between"

It's part of a paper I have to write. My teacher is pro at grammar and will notice any small mistakes. I've been told I need to use a certain number of semicolons in this paper, so this sentence is my attempt at using a lot of them in a proper fashion. Just tell me if any of it is wrong.

    :-)

I think you could use either colons or semi-colons where you have the semi-colons - so if you need to use a certain number of semi-colons this would work.
