Why do people breed when there are so many abandoned animals out there?

1) Most breeders breed animals to bring out better qualities in animals, so they can make money from their stock to feed their families, contributing to the community.

2) Most farmers and hobby farmers don't breed on the whim unless they wish to eat that animal, while most pet owners who don't know squat about animals will just let the animals loose because they do not want to claim responsibility.

3) If it really disgusts you, why don't you start eating off the abandoned animals to reduce the numbers, instead of posting here and complaining? Do something about it!

Well actually, not everyone wants to adopt. someday i wish to breed my animals in the future when im a grown up. I always wanted to take care of little babies. Its a pride thing. of having your very own litter of animals.

I do agree that many animals need to be adopted. but I also agree on other peoples opinion to breed.

I also believe that it is wrong to breed to just give them away. If i ever do breed an animal I will intend on taking care of EACH baby it has.

i agree with you there no need to breed dogs when there dogs in rescue people think of the money that people pay for the puppy they dont care about the dog
