Legal Name change on High school diploma?
I am asking the question for my sister. " I got my name legally changed years ago and I need to get it changed on my high school diploma. How do I do this?"
I don't know anything about this, so I thought I would ask her question here. She is in Kentucky if it matters. Thanks so much!

I would say that you should ask 'er about this situation if you are unsure about the diploma [no available info about that; I'm unsure too!]
Good luck!

You could probably force the school system to to apply your legal name to your diploma (through legal action if necessary). But I don't know why you would. Congratulations on graduating.... however.... in my own experience I have received 2 additional diplomas since high school. I have NEVER been asked by any employer to provide a copy of any of those diplomas. At most they ask for transcripts.... which should bear your SSN which verifies your identification. I don't even know where my high school diploma is (my mom's basement maybe) but my point is that no one is going to ask for it.... and even if they do... just request a transcript from your school. It will show your graduation date. If you can just forget it... I would suggest you just forget it. Not that big of a deal.
