What's the best way to hook up a laptop to a CRT TV?

Long story short the screen on my laptop broke and I figure the best use for it now is as a media center for the downstairs TV.

The TV is a CRT TV with RCA, COAX, and I believe s-video inputs. My laptop has VGA and HDMI output.

Suggestions?

Some laptops have what looks like an S-Video socket but with more than the regular 4 pins. The socket accepts an S-Video lead or an AV breakout lead with composite video. I have to say though that the picture quality of either isn't great. Scaling down the desktop and PC graphical display to video resolution makes things look very soft - fuzzy even.
