If it's just for one FPS game I'd recommend turning up the in game sensitivity and seeing if you can handle it. 5700 dpi is insane, I highly doubt you'd be able to handle that. As for the sniper button, it takes alot of getting used to. At first you'll be more thinking about what to actually click with your hand and end up dying alot, but after alot of usage it'll actually come in handy :)

I think you should go to your local Best Buy or CompUSA and seeing if they have that mouse or getting a R.A.T 7 or R.A.T 9 (They both have sniper buttons) and using it for 29 days and then return it on the last day :p

Make sure there's no restocking fee first though! Even if there is I'd still recommend doing that though, better to pay $10 and realize that you don't like it than pay $60.

It really depends on the game, and what the mouse has to offer, something consider is if its toward a single, few or many games.

Over the years I bought several different gaming mouses, and sell them when I'm done with it.

The majority of them, I've find it to be useful, especially toward first player shooter games. Those less than a second responds sometimes give you the edge. While others aren't as useful toward other games, or switching from game to game.

Do some research as see what mouses work well for the type of games you like to play, consider blogs, reviews, even some reviews from YouTube.

Also consider whether its claw grip or palm grip as to how it feels. I originality preferred palm grip mouses, over claw grip, over time it didn't matter, and got used to both.

Would you use its features? If you're not, it won't help.
