i finally got a vista partition installed i just had to boot directly to the disc.?

but my new problem is that i can't access the internet to get the drivers i need for it to do anything, if i can just get a program that works with my internet card and vista so i could access the internet that would be perfect and i could do the rest from there. side not Vista is not so bad with 8gb of ram and a i5 processor maybe they should have waited till technology was better before the launched it

Update:

i specifically did not say wifi cause its more than just a wifi connectivity issue, Ethernet and everything will not work. I just need a driver not common sense things a computer science major would have already tried.

You need the Ethernet drivers for your computer. You will have to download them from another computer put them on a flash drive then install them on your machine.

The Ethernet driver should be available from the computers manufacturers website for your model and Operating System. You MUST download the one for your Vista operating system.

You can also get them from the motherboard maker IF the Ethernet is part of the motherboard.

After you get the on the Internet, wired or wireless, then you can get the rest of the missing drivers. You probably (almost certainly) will have more missing drivers.

Why don't you use an ethernet cable for the meantime so you can connect to the internet and get your wifi adapter driver?
