got the driver now it won't let me choose what os i want to boot too?

Alright so last night when i first installed windows vista it gave me a choice of which Operating System i wanted to boot into Vista or Consumer copy of Windows 8. I chose Vista the first time but I could not get to the internet to download the drivers i needed so i went to my Windows 8 half to get those... well i found them on my own and put them on a flash drive and I turned my computer off hoping that when i turned it back on it would give me the choice Vista or 8. Instead it booted right into 8. How am i supposed to make it give me the choice again?

Are you sure that you fully Shut Down Windows 8? I find that my PC boots to the most recent version of bootloader if it was anything But correctly & fully shutdown last instance.

Also, DO NOT use Win8 for searching for drivers for Win Vista, there is much that IE10 does not load, & there is a good chance you will not get the files you are looking for...

What kind of bootlaoder are you running? That thing with the fish? GRUB?
