Why has the UK government taxed everything AGAIN?

How many pasty stores are going to be bankrupt in Cornwall because they decided to add a 50p tax to pastys? F*ck the government!

Because we as a nation will not stand together against the government, The miners nearly succeeded (I know it was an illegal strike and I don't want to get into that here), The fuel tanker drivers nearly did it but on both occasions the general public and other industries just stood and watched or condemned them.

What happened with the budget? The rich got richer, the poor got poorer and the pensioners got raped

The sooner we ALL start taking a page from the French Unionists handbook the sooner we as the people of this nation will truly have a say in the way our country is run.

As a Point of interest, how many wealthy bankers and businessmen pop out to their local Gregg's (Other pastie suppliers are available) for their lunch? Or nip down to the local supermarket for a few cans to relax in the evening? Just More tax on the less well off

Because somebody has to subsidise this great British socialist system - and that means anything that can be taxed will be.

"Tax free day" is the day when the average person in any country around this planet finishes paying taxes for the year- direct and stealth. Up to that day all their income is tax with the rest of the year being their own.

In 2010 in the USA, the flagship of Capitalism, it was April 9th with 27% of earnings being the tax for the year.

In 2010 in the UK, the shining light of Socialism, it was May 30th with 41% of earnings going in taxation.

However, all is not lost. These morons can still get their bellies filled on subsidised meals and pasties.

In fact they get so much, that some £51000 of food was wasted in Parliament last year.

You must remember the magic words "We are all in this together"

    What a load of plonkers.

I heard that petrol would cost 55p per litre if it wasn't for all the tax on it. Surely it would have been more fair to cut tax on petrol and this would help everyone including rich and poor people. Instead they have decided to increase the petrol tax even more in August. I actually think that they have totally lost touch with the general public.

Damn nabbit, Cornwall is where my ancestors came from! I'm going to make a pasty and eat it in indignant silence with a furrow on my brow! >=(

    Why pasties?! That's ridiculous!

I can understand cigarettes, although I don't understand why they don't just ban them altogether. But Pasties?! Is that really necessary?!

Government are an ELECTED body of fellow peers that REPRESENT YOUR VIEWS.

    HA HA HA HA HA!

See the problem here? See why petrol is so expensive that you can't afford to fill a milk bottle with it???

-It's gonna be a wild, hot summer this year me thinks.
