Data Plans: 200MB Enough?

i really do not want a smartphone, but that is basically all that the current cell phone carriers offer, so i might upgrade my phone and get a smartphone. However, i do not care if it is 3g/4g, i just have one simple question: Lets say i get an Android phone on T Mobile's network(Because i have their service, and it is great btw). Would 200mb of data per month be enough for an android/blackberry smartphone? all i would really be doing with it would be logging into Facebook for less than a minute, and logging out, and RARELY checking showtimes for movies. Will 200mb be enough? I will most likely log onto facebook one day, and one day not, since my computer at home has internet. Also, how many MB does streaming a single youtube video use up? And since i have wifi at my house, can i use it to access the internet, without using my data plan? Thanks(:

Update:

Well, i really didn't plan on using youtube on my phone....

No, 200 is not enough. It's better to get the 2GB plan because if you go over 200MB you get charged which sucks so much. And a video is 1MB per minute. No, Blackberries and Androids aren't good for a 200MB plan. The phone that would be good for a 200MB plan is a non smartphone.

Maybe, maybe not. 200 MB is really not that much. But if you get a phone with wifi, you may be able to counteract this. If you use your wifi while you're at home or anywhere else, you won't use up your 3g

I have verizon, and I have 2048 MB a month (2 GB), which is the cheapest plan they have, and I NEVER use it all. I'm a heavy internet user, too. I look at videos, email, facebook, and everything quite a bit throughout the day. I don't even come close to going over my limit.

I'm not sure how T mobile works, but get the cheapest data plan you can. It's usually around 2 GB, or maybe 1 GB. Either way, you don't need the most expensive data plan. Even if you download a lot of things.

Ok with some smartphones you can use the wifi. Such as my phone. When you are connected to wifi it doesn't use your data. Also 200mb I don't think will be enough cause once you get the phone you might end up using it more than you plan. I check fb and twitter couple times a day and watch videos occasionally and use like 1gb which is half of what I get monthly. So you might use more than you think. Hope this helps.
