I too found out I was pregnant at 17. It's been almost 20 years and I still deeply regret having an abortion. This is a decision that can't ever be undone, once it's done. It's so natural that you are freaked out, but things can be worked out, people can help you, either with adoption or keeping that precious life growing inside of you. Of course you are scared, but please, think long term. Rather than trying to "cover up" the "problem", please let your baby live, it is alive now and killing it is not the right answer.

I have to be completely honest with you from the start - the second I read the title question, my reaction was - don`t do it!

The reason for that is simple - cause I think it the sure way of doing something you`ll regret for the rest of your life.

But, the next thing that came to me was - what would I do in her situation? All is good and well when you`re on this side of the computer, not worried about your future or having to deal with all problems unexpected pregnancy carries along.

So, the only advice I have for you is this - educate yourself on the question of abortion.

We all know it to be a delicate and controversial subject which usually leads down to one basic question - is abortion a murder of a child or not.

This alone tells us that it really is an important thing and one should never enter into it without knowing it rightly.

So please, educate yourself, think it through seriously and then make your decision.

I must admit of having strong hopes that you won`t do it, and that you will keep your child.

It takes a lot of courage, I know, dear one, but be brave and nourish the Love you carry inside!

I know people usually recommend Planned Parenthood but look into Crisis pregnancy centre - those guys are helpful, give good advices and options one usually does not think of.

My brother and his wife are 24 and 26 years old.

They are looking to adopt and they're really against abortion.

They've been praying about being able to pay for a young woman's medical bills while she's pregnant and paying to adopt the baby once he or she is born.

They really want to be parents and this would be a huge blessing for them!

Please don't do this for yourself. Yes, it kills your baby, but it also maims you. Read the testimonies in the link, and ask yourself if you want to be as broken as those men and women. If you don't have much money, don't waste it on something that is going to cause a huge need for counseling and countless sleepless nights. Adoption is free, and there are no regrets.

You deserve more than a dead baby and a maimed soul. There are other, better, and cheaper options out there: all you need to do is look.

I am 18.. in college.. with a 2 year old.. and one due in July. married as well.. yeah it's hard but it something I would have never just aborted because I was selfish and wanted to do what I wanted to do.. get off your *** and get a job and support your kid like every other mother in the world does.. ur pregnant and whether you kill it or not.. that is/was your child.

You should be able to make money off the situation by selling your baby. Particularly if your white which is sad. People wait years to adopt due to the shortage of women willing to give their children up for adoption. You could probably make about 10k off one.
