how to convert works files into word?

I have a lot of works files, I just purchased a mac and don't have the ability to open the files using Microsoft office. How do I convert the files where I can open them on the new computer?

    I've had luck with it and it converts a big variety of different formats, including word and works documents. Give it a try.
