Does this alter the whole Zimmerman shooting case?

Well, police, evidently, knew about this from the beginning so, technically, the case is not altered.

The perception of the public will be altered, of course, by these revelations and President Obama will, once again, be confirmed as a fool, too quick to take the side of a Black against others.

I see a 40% chance, Mr. Zimmerman is going to White House for a beer...

I read the story.

That is one damn strong kid, to be holding onto a cell phone, and talking on the phone..at the same time as he is said to have taken Zimmerman down by attacking him. You don't see a flaw in this??

The obvious (to me) is that if Zimmerman had followed the 911 operators advice, and not followed Martin..and waited for trained law enforcement to arrive...then the situation would not have escalated.

I don't dispute his permit to carry a gun. It is the fact that he FOLLOWED Martin, against any common sense, and having a loaded gun, escalated it from a "neighborhood watch" to a vigilante action.

Personally, I don't care if Martin was black or white. The fact that Zimmerman went after anyone, against the advise of law enforcement, is what allowed this to happen.

You cannot (in my opinion) be attacking anyone, if you are in the middle of a phone call. Reality check.

Sorry to tell you this but the time line and the story does not fit the other witnesses and 911 calls. Zimmerman claimed he was going back to his car but according to his own 911 call he said he was following and going after Martin. Martin girlfriend claims that in the phone call Martin said he was going to walk fast to get away from Zimmerman. So why would Martin turn and going after Zimmerman and attack him? If martin was realy beating up Zimmerman wouldn't the witness go out and stop it? Instead he goes back in the house and looks out from a top floor window. Makes no sense.

If in fact, Trayvon did initiate the altercation than there is a certain possibility that this case would not be closed all the way but Zimmerman would not be charged.

Until everything is made public all one can do is presume. I just have one question, why was a neighbourhood watch guy carrying a loaded gun anyway?

Give me a break. The wanna be set everything in motion. Also the kid was worried he was being followed, right? Now the follower is no longer stalking him and is on his way back to his SUV. The kid is no longer being followed and now he's going to follow the follower the same one that caused him concern, yeah right

Remember the Duke Lacrosse team rape case? Lots of rush to judgment there, too.

News reports are not evidence. And statements by this person or that to the press are not evidence.

And that's sad because other crazy people like him are going to get away with the same. Innocent kids being killed for one persons' idea of crime!

Any time there is a black and white case, the media will side with the black person before they know what is going on. It happened with OJ, Rodney King, The Duke case...
