Yes teenagers get antidepressants described. The effect all depends on the person

Antidepressants mess you up really bad, they can take care of the depression at first then your body becomes tolerant to this chemicals and you stop feeling the effect so you will need a higher dose. Once you stop taking them the depression is worse than ever.

Only the doctor can determine if anti depressants are right for a 14 year old.

Yes. Adolescents can be on mental health medications (of all sorts). They must have a mental health disorder that is provided by a mental health professional. Also, a parent must sign all required documentation. Best of luck to you. I hope that this was helpful!

Yep. I was prescribed Zoloft when I was 15 and Prozac when I was 18. Neither did me any good.

Yeah, of course. However, just under medical supervision. If your psychiatrist prescribed those meds to you, you must take the exact dose.

Yeah if you genuinely need them, and you would have to be prescribed by a doctor, and I would imagine they work otherwise they'd be pointless.

Yes you have to get a prescription from a doctor and yes they do work.
