What is your reaction going to be when the Nationals make the playoffs this year?

Celebrate? Scream at your TV? Let your jaw drop? Are you gonna look back at your Answers to find out who was it that picked them to get into the second season during spring training?

Update:

Please share with the rest of us the huge contracts for mid-tier players over the last few years. Strasburg, Harper, Storen and Rendon were drafted. Adam Dunn's contract was 4 years for 56 million. Zimmerman was worth his extension. I'm assuming you are saying that Jayson Werth's contract wasn't worth it. Considering the turnaround of the team last year, I'd say it was. Just because you wouldn't put a guy on your fantasy team, doesn't mean he is mid-tier. Werth got on base more than anyone else on the team. Add the hits and walks. Average really doesn't matter when the point of the game is to score runs.

Update 2:

Mr. R... The Nats have almost no ties to their days in Montreal at all. The system was pillaged when MLB took over the ownership. Once Vladimir Guerrero signed with the Angels prior to 2004, Peter Angelos' outspoken opposition to the Expos move to DC was considerably less vocal. We endured a year and a half of MLB rule here too. The minor league system was consistently rated poorly. It wasn't until Stan Kasten replaced Jim Bowden that the Nats started making moves with a specific plan in place. The current group reminds me a lot of the Orioles and Indians from the early to mid-nineties when their homegrown talent and ability to attract quality free agents put them in a position to make some serious waves.

Their owner is worth like 4 billion and he's been handing out huge contracts to mid tier players these last few years. I wouldn't be shocked if any of that paid off, pun intended.

I agree that the Nationals will make a playoff run this season, so I won't be surprised at all. I predicted that the Nats will finish the regular season with an 84-78 record for my blog (I predicted the records of all 30 MLB teams for my blog at http://bikinihill.blogspot.com/ if you're interested in checking it out). Enjoy the upcoming season!

Nationals are the former Montreal Expos. The Expos have always had a very good scouting system. They know how to scout players and develop them. They are what the Orioles us to be now in Maryland.

celebrate, those guys will deserve it.

The road looks easier and easier with the Phills woes. Miami and them in the east, that is going to be the battle.
