Spacers! (PLEASE ANSWER)?

I'll answer this to the best of my ability (:

1) It depends on what you can tolerate. I know some people's spacers REALLY hurt, but mine never really bugged me. It hurt to eat a bit on one side since it took 4 tries to put in one spacer and was close to the gum. So if yours don't hurt, eat what you can! If they do, you could try sandwich/deli meat. It's pretty soft (:

2) Again, what you can tolerate. In addition to the foods you listed, soups, smoothies/shakes, and even pasta are all good soft food options. Just stay away from sticky candies and gum because it will pull those suckers right out!

3) They can. My orthodontist told me they could, but mine never did. If they fall out more than 2 days before getting braces, I would call your ortho.

4) I play violin so I can't really help, but I would assume so. They shouldn't impair your ability to play.

If your spacers don't hurt now, they might in a few hours. Take ibuprofen when you need it. Best of luck!

1. I really don't think you will be able to eat meat with spacers. Cause I got them two days ago and all I ate was ice cream and porridge.

2. Ice cream...Porridge. (Since i'm from Singapore, I don't know what jello is.)

3. No. But if they do fall out , go to you dentist.

4. Probably yes. Only when you bit your teeth together it hurts. I think you are able to play the clarinet.
