I've known her for a while and she wanted me to go with her. She goes to a different school so I won't know anybody there. I said I would but now I feel like I really don't want to. Should I still go? How could I make it less awkward?

Go... Have fun with her because she is your friend. It doesn't matter who else you know. It is her night. Make the best of it.

Yes! you already said you would you don't want to let her down just because you think it might be awkward. you just have to keep an open mind and chances are most high school dances are all a little awkward but still fun plus you get to dance with a pretty girl for a night

I would go to a friends prom from a different school rather than not go with anyone at my current school's prom, any way it would be nice to meet new people anyway
