Is Key Largo nice? Thinking about going?

yeah ive done some research its supposed to be pretty nice and cool... im going to key west and key largo, then miami then palm beach

One of Key Largo's greatest attractions is the Pennekamp State Park, the country's first underwater park. Here is a link to the park below. Pennekamp park has a beach. A number of hotels also have very nice small beaches. Bahia Honda has some exceptional beaches and recreational area. It is a bit further down, mile marker 37.

Key Largo is definitly worth checking out. Try going snorkeling in John Pennekcamp park. You won't even need scuba gear to see a phenomenal amount of coral life.

If it were up to me though, I'd continue going all the way to Key West. If you've never been, you need to go. Stop in Islamarada along the way and have a rum runner at the Tiki Bar in the Holiday Isle hotel. Then go feed the huge tarpon that hang out at Robbies reef.

Make your last stop at Key West. Check out Mallory square at Sunset and all the bars along Duvall street. There are plenty of hotels and bed and breakfasts of all price ranges where you can stay the night and have breakfast at Blue Heaven in the morning.
