I want to teach a baby a new language?
we have a baby in 2 weeks.our country is not an English language country but I want our infant to learn how to speak English since he born.and make English his native language!
NB: my parents dont know English so in this case maybe I should learn him English as his second language.but how can i learn him from the first.thank u for your useful helps.

The languages that you speak to your child are the languages that he will learn, but he cannot be a "native" English speaker, as it is not yours (nor will it be his) first language. But you can have him around friends who speak English and when he is older he can watch English language TV. In the meantime, speak to him in English for part of every day, and read some English language books as he is growing up. You might want to brush up on your own English as well, so that what he hears has normal grammar and syntax, as well as vocabulary.
