Well, if your family is really that silly, you should plan your own special vacation with your friends.

If it is your family you are talking about that is horrible. Nothing I can say would help. If you still live at home I would suggest you learn how to play drums. That will be a fun pay back. The plus is you will learn how to play drums.

edit:FDWizard. Bass player here. No discounting the rhythm section. Figured out of the box the drums are loudest. Granted suggesting finger paints and recommending the house as a canvas would also work. :)

The troll had a point . . .lol. . .people often think a veg diet is a burden. Let them know - and show them - that you'll be self-reliant. You can get by on simple eating like "snacks" (trust the fruitarian). Bring raisins, and high-calorie dates and bananas. In restaurants, just eat the salad and bread.

PS - As the "Fruitarian Drum Wizard", I really enjoyed the answer about taking up drums. I now realize I've been annoying people coming and going. :)

haha, then ur friends must be kind of assholes...

sometimes i'm a veg for 1-3 days 'cause it was healthy way to my body...

maybe u should explain to ur friends the benefits of a part-time veg (if u tell 'em to be full-time veg, u just make 'em sick of u... -__-)

I don't know whether you mean your real family or your imaginary multiple account family that you use to thumb up and down answers from non vegetarians.

Maybe they are just tired of hearing you blurt out "wtf?" all the time. No one wants to go on a vacation with a rude piece of shiite.

Please try to clarify this because your question and additional details contradict.

Right or wrong, most people equate: vegetarianism = high maintenance. Who wants to spend their vacation trying to feed one vegetarian?

    who is "they?"

EDIT NOTE: Daisy was not being insulting. She raised a valid point. If you're odd man out, you need to be the one to bridge gulfs. But I rather think there's more to this than you just being vegetarian. So what's the rest of the story?
