Although I've dated girls of both types, I think most guys would go for athletic girls, simply because they are usually in good shape and are toned...

I think its great that you are comfortable with yourself being girly, and many guys find that attractive as well, but I think guys would find you even more attractive if you set aside some time for working out and exercising! But at the same time, don't try to change the person that you are :D If a guy can't like you for who you are he's not worth your time ;)

And yes guys always like the natural look better!

Guys generally prefer sporty girls not necessarily because they play a sport, but because like you said, they don't wear much makeup and don't care too much about appearance. High maintenance is usually associated with drama, hours of primping, shallow, judgmental, and a sense of entitlement. I mean really, what guy WOULD prefer that over the natural, carefree, mellow girl next door?

The key to being an attractive girly girl is to find a happy medium. Wear the cute skirt you love, but don't let it hold you back from doing physical activities like a quick round of soccer or whatever. Do your hair all you want, but don't spend hours on it and or complain if it's less than perfect. Wear your makeup the way you like it, but guys DO find human faces attractive, so don't cake it on.

Don't change who you are just to cater to the majority of guys. If you go all tomboy and manage to get a boyfriend, he wouldn't be falling for the real you. The whole point is to find someone who likes you for you. You have to be completely and totally yourself, as in wearing and doing whatever makes you happy. If you have fun putting on make up and wearing skirts or whatever, then do it. A guy who truly likes you will accept it. Guys would take a girl who's herself over one who pretends to be otherwise any day. (Plus, confidence is a MAJOR turn-on, and you're the most confident when you're in your favorite outfit with your hair and face done how you like it.)

I prefer sporty girls because i have more in common with them and they also dont tend to wear alot of makeup like some girly girls do. Dont get me wrong I do like girly girls too but not ones that are too girly. I guess in the end I like a girl whos a mix of both. By the way, dont change who you are. If you like being a girly girl then stay that way. Never change into something you dont like.

my biggest issue with most girly girls are they are usually fake and they're just trying to impress i don't personally care if a girl is athletic or girly girl as long as she is her self. Be yourself and the right guy come pick you up off your feet but if you have to change yourself to impress he is probably somebody who you don't want to be with anyways.

I love athletic girls. I always have. Girly girls seem to feel that they are the center if the world whereas an athletic girl understands the opposite. I love when a girl shows up on a date or to school with little to no makeup, I mean, most of the time they look better without then with. Truth is no guys like a girly girl, its just that girls like that do it to impress other girls that do it. Go to school tomorrow with jeans and a nice shirt with just eye liner or something simple, thing is, it works. If you want guys then just think of what they think of you, not what other girls do.

I am both. Some days I wear cute pretty colorful sandals and a pretty a$$$ shirt with pink and purple and other days wear a jersey and my some sweats (really baggy too).
