People tend to complain about things that directly affect them on a daily basis, such as the price of gasoline. Since the stock markets seem to be steadily improving, it seems that people still need a place to complain to, so they are choosing to complain about oil. Also, as tensions increase between America and the Middle East, the price of oil will continue to increase, as business transactions will be harder to make.
