Maybe I'm weird, but I don't even give out somebody's cell number unless I know for sure it's okay with the owner.

Absolutely not. Ever. If the person wants to give out their address, they can do it themselves.

addresses are public records as are phone numbers so is it ok legally? yes. morally? no not unless you have permission.
