How do you block 'match.com' ads off email account?
I want "match.com" ads OFF my email page! They pop up randomly, completely cover the screen so I can't do anything! It disables all email function - there is no way to x it out or escape from the entire page being covered with the ad. I have to completely log out and in again to get out of it!! I consider this invasive and predatory advertising! Very inflammatory!!
When I go to the ad opt-out program, it does not allow me to opt out of match.com without opting out of all yahoo ads. I don't have any problem with routine yahoo ads; if this is the only way to get rid of them, I will do so, but was hoping to avoid that.
Wanda. This is happening on my other email account, also with yahoo. Last night I clicked the refresh button and it erased it, but I am leary to claim that this is a solution until I see that it works all the time. I also turned complaints in to the advertising regulatory agency posted by yahoo. Yahoo does not allow a complaint of this nature to be submitted under their current menu, so I saw no other recourse!!

This is not an answer. I just posted the exact same problem last night and was searching for the solution again tonight, as it has happened again. I totally agree with what you wrote. Where's the solution?

When you look at the ad to the right there will be a light gray arrow next to the ad on the left near the bar, click on that small arrow and it says hide ads. That will take it away.
