Skyrim: If in my armor (Heavy) menu it says legendary, does this mean it is as high as it will ever go?
I wasn't quite adapt to smithing then all of a sudden BOOM! I am at level 81 and I am 100 in everything after an exploit hack. I have spent my perks wisely and I should be able to make the best Deadric armor. I forgot to use any smithing potions or enchantments when I first created them. But I have since sharpened and improved once each (armor and weapons). I did use enchantments and potions when I did this. But alas, I didn't use my elixir of enchantment when I made my apparel. Follow me so far? Is it still possible to get to legendary? If not I am considering starting smithing over from a previous save.

Legendary is as high as it will ever go, but if you enchant your armor and stuff with fortify smithing, it could potentially get higher. I would suggest doing this later on, as your priority now is to just get a basic set of legendary Daedric.
