Whatever is saying that IS the malware, and is trying to install itself. Take these steps:
1. Run rkill, just download to the desktop, and double click the icon. No need to install. Read the description, not much to read. Delete when done, you can't update it:

2. After rkill has run successfully, install, and run a full scan with MBAM, it's free. Decline the free trial on install, you should keep this program.

Then update, and run a full scan with your AV.
You should now be clean.

Actually it is the virus itself that is warning you....about a virus ! A popular fake security suite that prevent you of virus infection and suggest you to buy the software.
go to http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/
this is a well-known anti-virus that can scan online your computer and remove this crap. It will take a while though, maybe an hour or so.
While it is scanning, check for prices and get a good anti-virus, not the free ones that offer only very basic protection, and you will not get this anymore

Close everything. This is a ploy that gives you a virus and then asks for money to remove it. Close your browser go offline and then run an ativirus scan. When you're done, update your anti virus software and scan again.

don"t know what anti-viruses program you have
but
free ones from download.com are Avast or AVG,
run a boot time scan, avast has it and it is free
a boot time scan will run before most all programs start and then will attempt to clean your computer

This is spyware. Start in safe mode with networking on a wired connection. Wireless will not do this. Download the free scanner from http://malwarebytes.org/ and run a full scan.
