Why is she bleeding a lot?

Well i recently asked what should i tell my friend or what should she use but at school today she was bleeding a lot and she had to keep changing pads... She started jan 2 and bearly started yesturday so does that have to do with her bleeding a lot?

    Everyone's period is different. I know that personally, I start out heavy my first few days then it lightens up. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Have her use overnight pads so she doesn't have to worry about changing them so often (that's what I do). If she gets dizzy or feels sick then you might want to get it checked out. Whatever you do, don't have her take aspirin. Aspirin causes for the blood to thin and her period would become very very heavy..we don't want that. If this lasts for more than 3 days and doesn't slow at all, then maybe call the doctor? The heaviest mine has been only lasts a couple days. I'm sure she'll be okay. It's just being a girl.

    I would go see a doctor if she is bleeding a lot. It is not healthy and could be very harmful
