I am moving to New York. What cable/wifi/phone companies are there?
I am Canadian so I am unfamiliar with the American cable companies. Which is cheapest? Best? I would want cable TV and WIFI and wouldn't mind a land line if it was only a few dollars more.

new york is a big place depends on where you are moving to... within NYC you will have either cablevision - also known as optimum... or time warner cable... in other areas you might have comcast.. cable companies are franchised to certain areas, so you will not have a choice in cable providers - you will have to take what ever provider offers service at the address that you will be moving to...
most of NY would have Verizon as the RBOC but there are areas where Frontier is the RBOC that is not to say that you could not use one of the CLECs that operate within the state of NY...
